THE WANDERER PROJECT welcomes nomads, staycationers, and adventure-seeking voyagers to participate in an adventure pastime. Those selected to participate are requested to make time during January 14 – January 21 2013 to see a sunrise in their current location in the world. The hopes of the project is to collect 100 sunrise photographs around the world to be part of The Wanderer Project by Katrina Neumann to be exhibited at The WYE in Berlin, Germany curated by Leah Stuhltrager.

The photographs will be streamed on to this website with the time, the name of the photographer, and their location. The project, after the exhibition, will also be featured in a catalog to be published later this year on Blurb.com.

Most importantly, this project welcomes participants to experience the sunrise before beginning their workday, during the weekend, or before trekking forward into the unknown of life. I believe it is truly a special and vital experience of waking in our life and to witness it is worth taking time to do so. The Wanderer Project would like to give select participants the chance to make a conscious decision to experience this and bring a little bit more light into their life.

The Wanderer Project is founded by Katrina Neumann (artist, nomad, and retro-aesthetic seeker) as part of The WYE residency and funded in part by Kickstarter.com.
